What is Alpha?

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

What’s involved?

The Alpha course begins at 7.00pm to sit down for a meal together. There is then the opportunity to hear a talk (details below) followed by some time in small groups for a time of discussion. Each evening will be finished by 9.30pm

Week 10:What about the Church?

In addition to our regular Monday night meetings we go away for a day together and look at the person and work of the Holy Spirit. The timetable for that day is

Talk 1: Who is the Holy Spirit?
Talk 2: What does the Holy Spirit do?
Talk 3: How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?

What will it cost?

There is no charge for attending the Alpha Course at Christ Church. However, there will be the opportunity to contribute towards the cost of the food should you wish.

When does the next course start?
