The Recital Series with Ben Couper at Christchurch began in November 2007 and there has been a variety of instruments from violin, vocals, clarinet and oboe, to electric guitar, trumpet, trombone and percussion.
The vision Ben has with these concerts is to ultimately have local musicians from around the area, including students and freelancers performing with the intension to build confidence and encouragement for their own development as musicians. Christ Church is a fantastic venue for such recitals and the concerts have proved this.
