Purpose and vision
'The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me because he has anointed me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour'.

Christ Church seeks to help people get to know God, and then grow in their calling and discipleship. Clear, practical teaching of Biblical truth is the foundation.
Christ Church seeks to help the poor, the downtrodden, and the broken hearted. This is why we run a range of community projects.

Service times - Our Sunday service has something for everyone

9.00am Parish Morning Service - A secure, happy, Church of England service with good preaching where established
church members welcome newcomers. Communion - second Sunday of each month.

11.00am Family Service - Good preaching and intimate worship within a less structured setting with
programmes for children. Most newcomers start at this service. Communion on the
fourth Sunday of the month.

6.00pm Evening Celebration Influenced by Vineyard with good worship, preaching and ministry.
